Monogatari Series Q's Anime Review & Commentary RedQStudios
The Monogatari Series will indeed be inducted into the Wall of Fame. It's been a journey and several years, of chilling, laughing and reconditioning the heart. An unusual tale that has sprawled across multiple season and episodes, that I believe is filled with interesting ideas, character aspirations as well as blossoming relationships. The visual component alone and the world presented begs to be explored, it's spacious, atmospheric, yet modern and stylistic. Also accompanied by great sound tracks and Op and Ed themes across the years, with beautiful textures, playful moods and touching symphonic compositions. It's one of my personal favourite watches, since it has such a casual and easy nature to it due to great use of comedic relief, the longer episode count doesn't really phase me, as the hilarious jokes and awesomely staged thrilling moments always get to me, especially the more intimate ones.

Akiyuki Shinbo
Yes the story is not chronologically ordered, yes there is sometimes excessive and pointless innuendo's and not every Arc is really all that interesting and the story can be quite vague or perhaps unfocussed at times. On the whole though, something that's so satisfyingly long, and filled with clever laughs and hilarious dialogue along the way, this certainly deserves at least my respect and will certainly deserve a place on the Wall of Fame. Having been such a breakthrough in animation at the time it was introduced in 2009 and greatly outperforming many other animation productions out there in terms of Cinematography and Art direction, being far more experimental and having a standard for production quality above many at the time, pushing both our boundaries and comfort zones as well as their own. This ranging from being pioneers of integrating 3DCG with 2D CG seamlessly, the art direction, the cinematography, as well as what form to tell a story, and what emotions, dialogue and ideas to accompany it with. Despite not really being a primary creative force despite generally being the head director for almost all productions, when Akiyuki & team Shinbo started getting involved with Shaft (Tsukoyomi Moonphase) and eventually started taking over, I've definitely noticed the difference, and while not completely aware of the exact ongoing and his creative contributions from production to production, I continue to be intrigued by his influence, and going onward will look forward to more animations from Shaft.

Almost 10 years later, Bakemonogatari still looks phenomenal, and to date there isn't another anime series of this type with as a diverse soundtrack that the many seasons of the monogatari series Satoru Kosaki & Haneoka Kei has provided. The 8 years that have gone by, Shaft has continued to improve the quality standards for animation. Definitely an anime that's very close to my heart, as I will continue to anticipate the mid July real ease of Owarimonogatari S2 when the monogatari series, once again, starts airing. I'll be be looking at this summer with a fresh new look & eagerly awaited anticipation.

With that said, since I've introduced a new rating system to try to somehow objectify things better, I'm also introducing a new Q favourites badge. this badge can be given to any particular series I desire, and is a solely personal symbol to tell people that the given anime is one of my personal favourites, and on that end, is far less of Badge that represent what I think objectively of a series, which often includes other peoples insights and perspective, which I also weigh very heavily along with my own. The series doesn't have to, and will not always be a Wall of Fame inductee, but even perhaps something I rated lower. I just want to have something accompanying the wall of fame geared towards people who seem to perhaps, by chance, enjoy my personal taste and are interested in what my all time favourites are. As you might imagine the Monogatari series will certainly receive one.
Also From now on I will use page breakers, so navigating posts won't seem as long a tedious as in the past.

Also, If your wondering about the large Hiatus, it's because I've been reading a lot about film directing and history, as well as colour in art, psychology, film theory and photography. I'm close to being about done, and once feel that all my reviews are all revised to my current standard, that'll be the green light for me to begin to proceed to Youtube. I know realistically, it will take a while, but I'm trying to get everything done as fast as possible to actually get to that point. A lot of my time also was spent on learning editing programs such as Adobe premiere and a whole range of  Adobe workshop programs as well as Final cut pro. I've also have a decent mic set up and have the necessary recording and mixing programs so on the that front, I'm ready, for me now, I just need to polish up everything I've written and of course finish my research on the topics above, which I'm somewhat close to.

Regarding this review, I've easily put over 24 hours into this, getting screenshots was a nightmare, due to the long episode count I easily took over 1000 screen shots, I never want to go through that again. Also since I felt quite passionately about this anime, I wanted to have an adequately well written review, so not only was their a painstaking amount of analysis, the general writing and research, screenshot arrangement and selection that went into this was incredibly demanding. I kept coming back to write, then leaving, then revising, then coming back to write, then leaving, then revising.. it's the most effort I put into a single review, not even the Shinsekai Yori review comes close in my eyes.
