Death Parade | Q's Anime Review & Commentary P.5

Addendum

Death Parade | Q's Anime Review & CommentaryCollectively I think Death Parade makes for some fantastic T.v animation, & while released almost 3 years ago now, it proves to be a tell tale sign that Madhouse can still be just as relevant of a force within the animation industry as it was before. With Death Parade, Tachikawa offers a completely original story and animation, that's an easily digestible 12 episodes, that makes for a short & sweet watch, as it can be heartbreaking, impactful & ever exciting. In addition to probing into more darker themes & how one reconditions the heart when collectively thinking about the span of one's past life. Issues that were present & are talked about here & elsewhere were thankfully quite mild, only leaving a few moderate issues that would potentially distract the given viewer - On my first watch the most bothersome thing to me was just how short it was!! as other issues had a very limited affect on my viewing experience. Death parade is unapologetic, compactly delightful, and ever so sweet & touching. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone wanting relatively short, but relatable series that's heartfelt & exciting.

Though Death Parade will take a dip in it's score this time around due to a more in depth look at it, Death Parade will still remain on the Wall of Fame.
